MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019190 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 4, for 'wall panel installation device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Pragyan Senapati.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wall panel installation device, comprising a rectangular base 101 having four telescopic rods 102, provided with tracked wheels 103 for locomotion of base 101, multiple container 104 stores wall panels of different designs, a projection unit 106 via a primary ball and socket joint 107, project a design on wall to enable a user to preview design before installation, an imaging unit 108, determine area and position of wall, a telescopic gripper 109 via a secondary ball and socket joint 110, fetches panels from container 104, a robotic arm 112 having a glue gun 113 for applying glue onto wall surface, two L-shaped telescopic bars 114 installed on base 101 via a tertiary ball and socket joints 115, having suction units 116 at the ends, via a quaternary ball and socket joints 117, for gripping panels on conveyor belt 111 to position on wall for adherence."
