MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311079876 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Nov. 24, 2023, for 'wall paint removing assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a wall paint removing assistive device, comprising a body 1 configured with wheels 2 for maneuvering the body 1 over a surface, an artificial intelligence based camera 3 mounted over body 1 for analyzing surrounding walls, a touch screen 4 mounted over the body 1 for selecting an area of wall to remove the paint, a telescopically operated rod 5 attached over the body 1 to extend and position a sharp edge plate 6 on the wall surface, a linear movement arrangement 7 attached with rod 5 and plate 6 to provide movement to the plate 6, plurality of pneumatic pins 8 attached with plate 6 to remove the paint, multiple suction units 9 paired with the plate 6 to draw dust and waste in a chamber 10 attached with body 1 and a speaker 11 installed over the body 1 to alert the user."
