According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The titled invention discloses wall mounted integrated self-service scanning, pricing, and mobile payment device for retail shopping outlets. The wall mounted shopping panel (1) allows customers to independently scan products, view totals, pay with mobile, and get a printed receipt without waiting in a queue for a long time. The device includes an integral barcode scanner (3) for scanning standard items and a detachable handheld scanner (6) for large or heavy products, allowing safe and convenient scanning without lifting items to the unit. A large LCD screen (2) serves as the primary user interface, displaying product information, pricing, running totals, and instructions, while the keypad (7) positioned below the screen allows the user to correct inputs, confirm actions, and interact with system menus. A dedicated billing LCD display panel (4) generates a QR code for mobile payment. Upon successful transaction, a receipt is automatically printed and dispensed through the bill delivery port (5)."
