MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511117020 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Nov. 25, 2025, for 'wall lining removal device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wall lining removal device comprising a platform 101 positioned in proximity to a wall, a plurality of telescopically operated rod 102 for elevating the platform 101 with respect to the wall, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 103 for generating a 3D map of surrounding, a touch interactive display panel 104 to select an area for removing wall lining, a set of omnidirectional wheel 105 for positioning the platform 101 in proximity to user-specified area, a steam generation unit 106 with plurality of electronically controlled nozzle 106a to direct steam for softening wall lining, a wedge-shaped plate 107b for removing the wall lining, a robotic clipper to peel off the wall lining, a vacuum unit 109 for drawing loosened debris and steam condensation into a chamber 111 through a flexible hose 110 for maintaining cleanliness during removal of the wall lining."
