MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411004748 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 23, 2024, for 'wall imprinting assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wall imprinting assistive device, comprising a U-shaped frame1 installed with a handle 2 to be gripped by a user, a cylindrical member 3 is configured with frame1 via a pair of links 4 that is manually filled with paint, a touch enabled screen 5 installed on frame1 for selecting a pattern that is to be imprinted on wall, a motorized iris lid 6 configured with member 3 to open, a primary roller 7 configured with multiple pneumatic blocks 8 to extend/retract, a pair of motorized sliders 9 configured between links 4 and frame1 for translating links 4 in a manner to position member 3 in contact with primary roller 7, multiple iris pores 10 configured on member 3 to open for dispensing paint and a secondary motorized roller 11 configured with multiple bristles to rotate in contact with wall for removing dust from wall."
