MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024169 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 26, 2024, for 'wall holes restoration device.'

Inventor(s) include Vishakha Sharma; Taksh Dhiman; Swati Pathak; Anshu Tomar; and Sourabh Dhiman.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wall holes restoration device, comprises of a platform 1 installed with plurality of motorized omnidirectional wheels 2 dedicated towards maneuvering of the platform 1, artificial intelligence enabled image capturing module 3 for capturing and processing multiple images inside the enclosure, a hydraulically operated scissor arrangement 4 to lift the arrangement to the detected hole on the wall surface, a storage chamber 6 stored with plaster of Paris, a nozzle 7 connected with the chamber 6 via a conduit 8 for dispensing the plaster of Paris, plurality of compartments 9 for storing of multiple support pieces, a robotic arm 10 to initially grip one of the pieces resembling size of the hole and then holding the desired piece against the filled hole for a pre-defined amount of time."
