MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010075 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'wall hanging installation assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Mohammad Mazid.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An wall hanging installation assistive device, comprising a U-shape frame 1 installed on a protrusion of a wall for mounting a wall hanging, a camera 2 integrated on frame 1 for detecting dimension of protrusion, a drawer arrangement integrated with frame 1 to extend/retract for providing secure grip on protrusion, a speaker 3 for notifying user to mount wall hanging on a hook 4 attached with frame 1, a weight sensor for detecting weight of hanging, a pair of robotic clipper configured at lateral sides of frame 1 to support wall hanging on hook 4, an angle sensor for detecting alignment of wall hanging and based on which clippers 5 maintain appropriate alignment, an anemometer 6 installed on frame 1 for detecting direction and speed of wing, and four suction cups 7 arranged on frame 1 for adhering wall hanging in a secure manner."
