MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411012450 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 21, 2024, for 'wall construction assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Abhishek Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wall construction assistive device comprises of a U-shaped extendable frame 1 installed in proximity to a wall under-construction and arranged with an extendable rectangular frame 2 configured with multiple plates 3 that accommodate a user, a microphone 4 for enabling a user to give voice commands, a pair of motorized pivot joints 5 for deploying the plates 3 to allow the user to accommodate over the plates 3, a camera 6 for detecting top portion of the wall, a pair of motorized sliders 7 for translating the rectangular frame 2 towards the top portion, a motorized sliding unit 9 for translating the chamber 8 towards the user, an inflatable member 10 inflated by an air compressor 11 for preventing collision of the user with the ground surface upon falling from the plates 3, thus preventing any chances of injury to the user."
