MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641061908 A) filed by Kits Akshar Institute Of Technology; and KKR & KSR Institute of Technology and Sciences, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, on May 15, for 'voice-controlled motor actuation and device operation using voice reccognition and embeded ai.'
Inventor(s) include Ms. K. Sonia; Mrs. K. Padmaja; Gurram Venkata Sai Chetan; Vada Gnana Sai; Shaik Nisar Ahammad; and Pasupulate Sivamani.
The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This invention introduces a networked relay actuator for water motors, utilizing an ESP8266 microcontroller interfaced with Firebase Realtime Database to receive commands from a remote speech recognition AI model. Verbal input of "turn on motor" prompts the AI to set a database flag to "on," which the ESP8266 monitors via stream subscription and responds by energizing a relay GPIO, powering the motor for water discharge. The phrase "turn off motor" conversely clears the flag, de-energizing the relay to cease operation. Featuring a sealed enclosure, dual LEDs for state indication, and auto-reconnect protocols, the system withstands intermittent connectivity while prioritizing safety through timeouts and last-state retention. Applicable to irrigation, sump extraction, or tank filling, this lean IoT setup merges accessible voice tech with Firebase synchronization for reliable, expandable pump control in connected environments."
