MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611001653 A) filed by Nims University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Jan. 7, for 'voice-activated silent emergency system and method thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Jitendra Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention is related to a voice activated silent emergency system integrated into a computing device (101). The system comprises a microphone (102) for continuous ambient audio monitoring by a dedicated low-power always-on listening module (103) with a keyword detection engine (104) trained to recognize a predefined voice command. Upon detection, a silent emergency mode (105) activates, suppressing all audible, visual, and haptic outputs. A data capture module (106) collects real-time GPS location (107), environmental audio (108), and covert images/video (109). A hardware-accelerated contextual analysis module (112) verifies genuine emergencies to reduce false alarms. The communication module (110) securely transmits the data to pre-designated emergency contacts (111) via multi-channel encrypted communication. The system ensures discreet, reliable, and power-efficient hands-free emergency alerts in wearable on mobile devices."
