According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This invention provides a Smart Sensor-based nutritional and well-being monitoring system that enables users to receive personalized nutrition recommendations based on their individual needs. This system utilizes real-time physiological data collected from wearable or physiological sensors and data collected from users about what they eat based on photographs or scanning of packaged foods. Through the use of a data ingestion module, the nutritional and physiological inputs are processed and sent to an engine that interprets food items and extracts the appropriate nutritional information based on images, barcodes, optical character recognition, etc. Additionally, there is a Retrieval Augmented Generation (R.A.G.) module that retrieves verified nutritional information from curated nutrition databases in a Retrieval Augmented Generation approach, and a Large Language Model (LLM) that combines the retrieved nutritional data with the specific health parameters of the user, such as body mass index (BMI), activity levels, dietary preferences, allergies, and health conditions. From this data, the system produces personalized and context-sensitive nutrition and well-being advice."
