According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to vision-based assistive control system and method for hands-free operation of electronic and smart home devices. The system (100) includes an image capture unit (102) configured to continuously acquire facial image frames, including eye movement and eyelid state information. A control unit (104), having at least one processor (104a) and memory (104b), processes the facial image data to extract eye-gaze information and generate pointer movement signals for positioning a cursor (106) within a user interface (108). The control unit (104) further analyzes eyelid closure characteristics across successive image frames to generate a selection or activation signal upon confirmation of an intentional blink. A user-presence and distance condition is determined from a facial scale parameter to selectively enable or suspend signal generation. An output interface (110) executes event-driven control actions for actuating a computing interface (112) or a smart home device (114)."
