MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641017976 A) filed by Srm Institute Of Science And Technology; and Easwari Engineering College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Feb. 18, for 'visible-light-responsive mixed metal oxides@graphene oxide nanostructures for degradation of organic pollutants.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Abinaya S; and Dr. Helen P Kavitha.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 27, under issue no. 09/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to the field of nanomaterials and environmental remediation, and more particularly to graphene oxide intercalated copper-doped magnesium oxide nanostructures and their application as visible-light-responsive photocatalysts for degradation of organic pollutants present in aqueous environments."
