According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided in the present application are a video encoding method and apparatus, a video decoding method and apparatus, and devices, a system and a storage medium. When the current block is encoded or decoded, N candidate weight export modes are determined; at least one candidate prediction mode is then determined on the basis of the N candidate weight export modes and attribute information of the current block; on the basis of the N candidate weight export modes and the at least one candidate prediction mode, a first weight export mode corresponding to the current block and K first prediction modes are then determined; and the current block is then subjected to prediction by using the first weight export mode and the K first prediction modes, so as to obtain a prediction value of the current block. That is to say, in the embodiments of the present application, when a decoding end determines a candidate prediction mode, a weight export mode and attribute information of the current block are taken into consideration, such that the determination accuracy of the candidate prediction mode is improved, and when the current block is subjected to prediction on the basis of the accurately determined candidate prediction mode, the prediction accuracy of the current block can be improved, thereby improving the encoding and decoding performance."
