MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527064531 A) filed by Beijing Zitiao Network Technology Co. Ltd., Beijing, on July 7, for 'video editing method and apparatus, electronic device, and storage medium.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a video editing method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: in response to a trigger operation on a text track segment in an editing track on a video editing interface, displaying a first text editing interface of the text track segment, wherein the first text editing interface comprises a text effect preview area, a text template selection area, and a first text effect editing area; in response to a selection operation on a target text template, placing a corresponding text material on the text track segment and presenting a first text effect of the corresponding text material in the text effect preview area; and in response to an editing operation on the target text template, adjusting the first text effect of the corresponding text material placed on the text track segment, and presenting in the text effect preview area a second text effect obtained after adjusting the first text effect of the corresponding text material. The present solution shortens an operation path for text editing and enhances rapid editing of text effects while ensuring high distribution efficiency of text templates."
