According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A video deidentification system for naturalistic driving studies (NDS), comprising a face anonymization module 101 configured to deidentify driver face videos using generative adversarial networks (GANs) and face swapping protocols to anonymize participants' identities while preserving essential human factors attributes, an evaluation module 102 configured to quantify errors associated with head, mouth, eye movements, and other attributes relevant for human factors research in deidentified videos, a synthetic face generation module 103 for substituting real faces with synthetic faces to enhance generalization, a guideline module 104 providing protocols for error threshold creation, spot-checking for metric changes, and mitigation strategies for reidentification risks, the system enables wide sharing of NDS driver face videos while balancing data utility and participant privacy."
