MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025625 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'vibration damping system for vibrational screens.'

Inventor(s) include Rajiv Kumar; Dipika Sharma; Ravi Kr. Bhatnagar; and Devyani.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A vibration damping system for vibrational screens, comprising, multiple elongated bodies 1 developed to be positioned in between each of angular adjustable isolators of vibrational screens, a wall mounting brackets 2 configured on ends of each of the bodies for securely affixing the bodies in between the isolators, a vibration sensor associated with the system to detect presence and intensity of vibrations experienced on the bodies, an air compressor 3 installed with each of the bodies to inflate a pair of air bellows 4 in view of stabilizing the vibrational screen, an accelerometer for detecting shaking of the vibrational screen which is imparted on the bodies, and motorized ball and socket joint 5 for allowing movement of the bellows in direction of the misbalancing, thereby allowing synchronized movement to the bodies and eliminating chances of regular mechanical malfunctioning."
