MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527052667 A) filed by Key2Brain AB, Solna, Sweden, on May 30, for 'vhh antibodies and uses thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Ohlin Sjostrom, Elisabet; Berglund, Magnus; Nordling, Erik; and Astrand, Mikael.
The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to variable domain of heavy chain-only (VHH) antibody binding specifically to the transferrin receptor 1 (TfR1) and uses thereof to transport therapeutic agents or imaging agents into cells and over the blood-brain barrier."
