MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517059279 A) filed by Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki Kaisha, Aichi, Japan, on June 20, for 'vehicular display control device, vehicular display control method, and vehicular display control program.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This vehicular display control device has: a first image generation unit which generates a first image to be displayed at a display position based on the location of an object on the vehicle forward side; and a second image generation unit which generates a second image different from the first image. In a display region which includes a first region allocated to the display of the first image and a second region allocated to the display of the second image and is provided to a front section in a cabin, a display control unit performs control so that the first image is displayed at a position not overlapping the second image, when the display position of the first image overlaps the second image."
