MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411073945 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Sept. 30, 2024, for 'vehicle tire pressuring safety device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Sachin Mohal; Dr. Saurabh Chaitanya; Rohit Singh; and Shivam Pandey.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A vehicle tire pressuring safety device, comprising a C-shaped frame 1 positioned on a ground surface, a C-shape plate 2 attached vertically on the frame 1 for accommodating tires of differing sizes, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 installed on the frame 1 to determine a size and position of the tire, plurality of iris holes 4 provided on the plate 2 to open to release an excess pressure of the tire, if the detected pressure exceeds a threshold pressure, a pair of hydraulic pushers 5 provided on sides of the frame 1, for engaging with a chassis of a vehicle to lift the vehicle in the condition of the tire burst and a microphone 6 provided on the frame 1 for receiving an audio command from a user."
