MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020731 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 19, 2024, for 'vehicle protection device for adverse climatic conditions.'
Inventor(s) include Gurkirat Singh; Sanjeev Sharma; Prateek Ranjan; and Sukhnik Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a vehicle protection device for adverse climatic conditions, comprising a rectangular frame 1 constructed with plurality of extendable bars developed to be positioned on a ground surface, a camera 2 mounted on the frame 1 for detecting presence of a vehicle on the ground surface, plurality of motorized omnidirectional wheels 3 configured underneath the frame 1 for maneuvering the frame 1 on the surface, plurality of telescopically operated rods 4 configured with the frame 1 for lifting the frame 1 along with the vehicle and plurality of hydraulically operated links 5 configured on the frame 1 for positioning an arrow-like anchor structure 6 attached with the links 5 in contact with the surface in view of affixing the frame 1 and vehicle to the surface."
