MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514073578 A) filed by Suzuki Motor Corporation, Shizuoka, Japan, on Aug. 1, 2025, for 'vehicle notification system.'
Inventor(s) include Yumisashi Rika; Asahara Shunta; and Kato Masahiro.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A vehicle notification system 1 includes: a right turn intention detection unit B114a that detects a right turn intention of a right turning vehicle VA on the basis of an image captured by a camera 114a; and notification issuing units B118a and B119a that perform notification issuance to avoid collision between the right turning vehicle VA and a straight traveling vehicle VB traveling straight in a straight lane L22 opposite to a traveling lane L11 where the right turning vehicle VA is present after the right turn intention detection unit B114a detects the right turn intention."
