MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521030043 A) filed by Matter Motor Works Private Limited, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on March 28, 2025, for 'vehicle network security.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure describes a vehicle network security system (100) to detect and manage irregular communication sources in a vehicle communication network. The system (100) comprises a detection module (102), a routing module (104), a substitute receiver (106) and a forensic analysis module (108). The detection module (102) is configured to identify at least one irregular receiving source from network traffic transmitted over the vehicle communication network. The routing module (104) operatively coupled to the detection module (102) and configured to dynamically redirect network traffic originating from the irregular receiving source. The substitute receiver (106) communicably coupled to the routing module (104) and configured to emulate vehicle electronic modules and interact with redirected network traffic. The forensic analysis module (108) is communicably coupled to the routing module (104) and the substitute receiver (106) and configured to record network communication associated with the irregular receiving source."
