MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411008182 A) filed by Hero Motocorp Limited, New Delhi, on Feb. 7, 2024, for 'vehicle main stand.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A vehicle (10) comprising a body frame (11), a swing arm (27) swingably supported on the body frame (11), a main stand (61) pivotally mounted on the bottom portion of the body frame (11), the main stand (61) comprising a main stand lever (105) disposed towards the bottom portion (81) of the main stand (61) thereby facilitating the main stand (61) to be operated between an engaged state (ES) and a disengaged state (DS), a pillion step holder (65) mounted on the body frame (11), a pillion footrest (66) mounted on the pillion step holder (65), wherein a main stand stopper (71, 72) is mounted on the pillion step holder (65) through a bracket (91)."
