MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311087103 A) filed by Hero Motocorp Limited, New Delhi, on Dec. 20, 2023, for 'vehicle frame structure.'

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A frame structure (101) for a vehicle (100) that includes a front body frame (103) and a rear body frame (104) extending from the front body frame (103) towards the rear portion of the vehicle. The front body frame (103) includes a head tube (132) and at least one frame member (130a) extending rearward from the head tube (132). The at least one frame member (130a) comprising a left upper frame member (134), a right upper frame member (135), a left lower frame member (138), and a right lower frame member (139). The frame structure (101) further incorporates a plurality of intermediate left and right cross or support members connecting the upper and lower frame members. The first left and right intermediate cross or support members (153) are configured to bend outwardly in the vehicle width direction, providing support to the upper and lower frame members."
