MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019187 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 4, for 'vehicle exhaust fumes disposal system for garages.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Seshadev Sahoo.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A vehicle exhaust fumes disposal system for garages, comprising a dual-axis lead screw mechanism 101 installed within a rectangular frame 102 adapted to be mounted on a roof surface of a vehicle garage, a motorized roller 103 is provided on lead screw mechanism 101, containing a hose 104 for collection of vehicle exhaust fumes, a plurality of pneumatic pins 105 configured inwardly at a first end of hose 104 for attaching onto an exhaust of a vehicle, a plurality of HEPA (high efficiency particulate air) filters configured within hose 104, for absorbing particulate pollutants, a connector unit 201 comprising a circular base 202 having four motorized omnidirectional wheels 203 underneath base 202 translates to deployed hose 104 to grip first end of hose 104 and position on exhaust for attaching onto exhaust by means of pneumatic pins 105."
