MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521133822 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'vehicle driving simulation device.'

Inventor(s) include Mohan Raj Koutarapu; Simrin Fathima Syed; Dr. Madhu Shukla; Vipul Ladva; Akshay Ranpariya; and Neel Dholakia.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A vehicle driving simulation device comprises a platform 101, a seating unit 102 accommodates a user, an imaging unit 103 with a link detects user height, a sensor suite 104 continuously measures weight distribution, posture, body movement, an input means receives user input, a steering wheel assembly 106 on an inverted L-shaped extendable rod 107 comprising a bearing 106a for manipulation, an accelerator pedal 106b and brake pedal 106c and an indicator lever 106d for turn signalling, a sensing unit 108 measures heart rate, grip force, stress level, and physiological response to assess user's emotional state and confidence, a VR module 109 delivers visual-auditory simulation, a sensing module 110 with EEG, EOG, infrared blink, and optical NIR sensors monitors brain and eye activity, a vehicle simulator module with LRAs 111 and torque sensors generates haptic feedback simulating road irregularities."
