MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517134081 A) filed by Crrc Yangtze Co. Ltd., Hubei, China, on Dec. 31, 2025, for 'vehicle door latch mechanism, vehicle door, and railway insulated vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A vehicle door latch mechanism (10) connected between a door body (21) and a door frame (22), the vehicle door latch mechanism comprising: a first locking assembly (100) connected between the door body (21) and the door frame (22); a driving mechanism (200) connected to the first locking assembly (100) to drive the first locking assembly (100) to perform a locking or unlocking operation; a second locking assembly (300) connected between the door body (21) and the door frame (22); and a transmission assembly (400) connected between the driving mechanism (200) and the second locking assembly (300) to drive the second locking assembly (300) to synchronously perform a locking or unlocking operation when the driving mechanism (200) drives the first locking assembly (100) to perform the locking or unlocking operation. Further provided are a vehicle door having the vehicle door latch mechanism (10) and a railway insulated vehicle. The vehicle door latch mechanism, the vehicle door and the railway insulated vehicle solve the technical problem of unsatisfactory locking reliability and stability of a sliding embedded vehicle door of a railway vehicles to a certain extent."
