MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411004092 A) filed by Hero Motocorp Limited, New Delhi, on Jan. 20, 2024, for 'vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a mounting position of a power distribution unit (236) of a vehicle (100). The vehicle (100) includes a body frame (120), a storage box (226) mounted to the body frame (120), at least one battery (232) accommodated in the storage box (226), and a power distribution unit (236). The power distribution unit (236) is electrically connected to the at least one battery (232) and mounted to the body frame (120) outside a front wall (228F) of the storage box (226) along a vertical downward direction. A motor (234) is electrically connected to the power distribution unit (236) through a first wire harness (252). At least one charging port (122) is electrically connected to the power distribution unit (236) through a second wire harness (254). The power distribution unit (236) is electrically connected to the at least one battery (232) through a third wire harness (256)."
