MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018832 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'vegetable dumpling preparation assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Vishnu Prasad Shrivastava.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A vegetable dumpling preparation assistive device is illustrated, comprising a curved-shaped body 1 attached with a handle 2 segregated into multiple section to be filled with vegetable-based batter, a touch enabled screen 4 accessed by user to provide input for preparing vegetable dumplings, a camera 5 to detect presence of a cooking utensil, a laser projection unit to guide the user in positioning body 1 on utensil, a moisture sensor to detect moisture within the batter, an L-shaped telescopically operated rod 7 configured with plate 8 to cut the batter, an angle sensor to detect angle of the body 1, a motorized hinge arranged between handle 2 and body 1 to prevent splashing of oil, multiple curved members 10 to deploy and prevent the user from risk of burn."
