MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411008452 A) filed by Garg, Unnati, New Delhi, on Feb. 7, 2024, for 'vegan, nut butter based herbal extracts infused cookies and method to prepare thereof.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a vegan herbal extract infused nut butter based cookie incorporated with natural ingredients can be used as a health supplement for various purposes. The cookie can be made using different kinds of grains or flours like oats, millets, whole wheat flour,and many more. To make the dough of the cookie the flour can be combined with different types of butters namely, peanut butter, almond butter, and many more in a combination with flax or chia seeds that act as a binder. For providing sweetness to the cookies, jaggery or erythritol are used as a substitute for sugar to make them a healthier option. The cookies can be used as a health supplement by incorporating different types of natural ingredients according to the purpose they are being used for. All the ingredients used have been scientifically proven to serve the purpose they are being used for. The cookies are meant to have a shelf-life of more than 6 months. Using these cookies will serve a dual purpose of being a healthy snack as well as a supplement."
