MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517021703 A) filed by Daikin Industries Ltd., Osaka, Japan, on March 11, for 'uv irradiation device.'
Inventor(s) include Koshiyama Tatsuki; Tanaka Toshio; and Koyama Chika.
The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This UV irradiation device comprises: an irradiation unit (11) for radiating UV light; and a control unit (13) for controlling the irradiation unit (11) so as to repeatedly perform a first mode (M1) in which the UV light is radiated so that the UV light irradiation amount per unit area in a prescribed period is smaller than a reference irradiation amount and a second mode (M2) in which the UV light is radiated so that the UV light irradiation amount per unit area in the prescribed period is equal to or greater than the reference irradiation amount."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 09, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/040397.
