MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020764 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad. Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'utensil manufacturing device from remnants.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A utensil manufacturing device from remnants, comprising a body 1 be positioned on a fixed surface that is crafted with an inlet 2, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 installed in body 1 determines the dimension of accommodated horns, a pair of robotic arms grips horns from inlet 2, a motorized conveyer belt 4 for accommodating gripped horns, an ultrasonic sensor evaluates portions of horn to be trimmed off for acquiring a flat structure of horn, a blade 6 by means of extendable rod 7 performs cutting of evaluated portion of horn, a motorized drilling unit 8 by means of an extendable bar 9 performs drilling on center portion of horn to craft a cavity of a required depth in horn, a telescopically operated link 11 integrated with a flap 10 to smoothen cavity of structure, multiple electronically controlled nozzles 15 integrated a multi-sectioned chamber 14 dispense color onto structure."
