MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024068 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 26, 2024, for 'utensil-cleaning assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Anushka Sharma; and Dr. Sachin Gupta.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An utensil-cleaning assistive device, comprises a platform 1 installed with a rectangular slot 2 to accommodate a utensil on the slot 2, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 to determines the dimensions of the utensil, multiple suction units 5 via telescopically operated links 4 for positioning the suction units 5 near the utensil, multiple electronically controlled nozzles 7 installed in each section of the chamber 6 to dispense cleaning liquids in a multi-sectioned chamber 6 arranged on the platform 1, a speaker 12 installed on the platform 1 to produce audio signals for notifying the user to re-fill the sections, and a telescopically operated rod 8 for moving a pair of electromagnetic members 10 arranged on one end of the rod 8 on edges of the utensil."
