MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517081303 A) filed by Qualcomm Incorporated, San Diego, on Aug. 27, for 'user equipment (ue) measurement reporting configuration for aggregated positioning reference signal (prs) resources.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives, from a location server, a positioning assistance data message indicating at least one or more sets of positioning reference signal (PRS) resource sets transmitted by at least one transmission-reception point (TRP) that are associated for PRS measurement aggregation, one or more sets of PRS resources transmitted by the at least one TRP that are associated for PRS measurement aggregation, or both, obtains aggregated measurements of the one or more sets of PRS resource sets, the one or more sets of PRS resources, or both based on one or more measurement reporting configuration parameters, and transmits, to the location server, a measurement report indicating the aggregated measurements of the one or more sets of PRS resource sets, the one or more sets of PRS resources, or both."
