MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202647041909 A) filed by Khd Humboldt Wedag Gmbh, Koln, Germany, on April 1, for 'use of thermal energy originating from a process for producing cement clinker, for operating a stage for removing carbon dioxide (co2) from off-gases of the process.'
Inventor(s) include Breidenbach, Jens; Knoch, Alexander; Mersmann, Matthias; Sellmann, Johannes; and Streit, Norbert.
The application for the patent was published on April 10, under issue no. 15/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to the use of thermal energy that originates from a process for producing cement clinker in which off-gas is produced that is enriched with carbon dioxide (CO2)."
