MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517070502 A) filed by Mitsui Chemicals, Inc., Tokyo, on July 24, for 'urethane prepolymer, polyurethane resin raw material, conjugate material, and method for producing conjugate material.'

Inventor(s) include Ito, Takeshi; and Kanazawa, Yuki.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This urethane prepolymer is a product of a reaction between a polyisocyanate component, a macropolyol component and a compound component having a hydrophilic group. The urethane prepolymer has an isocyanate group and a hydrophilic group. The polyisocyanate component includes an aromatic polyisocyanate. The aromatic polyisocyanate includes at least one type selected from the group consisting of diphenylmethane diisocyanate and a polymethylene polyphenyl polyisocyanate. The macropolyol component includes a polyether polyol having a number average molecular weight of 400-10,000. The compound component having a hydrophilic group includes a compound having a hydrophilic group and an active hydrogen group having an oxygen atom."

The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 22, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/011372.
