MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621022823 A) filed by Ve Commercial Vehicles Ltd., Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, on Feb. 26, for 'urea dosing system for a vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A urea dosing system (100) for a vehicle is disclosed. The urea dosing system (100) comprises a urea tank (102) configured to store a urea solution. The urea dosing system (100) further comprises a urea pump (104) fluidly coupled to the urea tank (102) and configured to deliver pressurized urea to a dosing injector. The urea dosing system (100) further comprises a backflow connector (108) fluidly coupled between the urea pump (104) and the urea tank (102). Further, the backflow connector (108) comprises a throttle-based flow restriction formed as a fixed orifice throttle. Further, the backflow connector (108) is configured to generate a controlled pressure drop to maintain a predefined backpressure for proper operation of the urea pump (104) while allowing reverse flow during purging."
