MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517079014 A) filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Aug. 20, for 'uplink transmission control method and apparatus.'

Inventor(s) include Gao, Xueyuan.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides an uplink transmission control method and apparatus. The method comprises: when in an uplink simultaneous transmission across multiple panels (STxMP) scenario, physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission is scheduled to multi-transmission and reception point (TRP) single frequency network (SFN) transmission by a network scheduler on the basis of a single piece of downlink control information (DCI), receiving a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS)-related transmission configuration information sent by a network device; and for codebook-based PUSCH transmission, on the basis of the PTRS-related transmission configuration information and a preset protocol rule, determining PTRS actual sending parameters for performing the PUSCH transmission, and respectively sending PTRSs by means of the SFN transmission on PUSCH transmission occasions (TOs) corresponding to different panels/TRPs/beam TCI states/sounding reference signal (SRS) resource sets. The solution provided by the present disclosure can achieve enhancement indication of PTRSs under SFN transmission, thereby supporting CPE estimation of multiple panels of a terminal under a codebook-based configuration by using an SFN scheme under STxMP transmission, and effectively improving the reliability and throughput rate of data transmission."

The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 28, 2023, under International application No.PCT/CN2023/073578.
