MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517085547 A) filed by Fujitsu Limited, Kanagawa, Japan, on Sept. 9, for 'uplink data transmission and uplink data receiving apparatus and method.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Embodiments of the present application provide an uplink data transmission and uplink data receiving apparatus and method. The method comprises: determining a HARQ process identifier associated with one configured grant (CG) occasion of at least two CG transmission occasions in a period configured by one CG, said HARQ process identifier being different from HARQ process identifiers associated with CG occasions of the at least two CG occasions other than said one CG occasion; transmitting uplink data on the CG occasion according to the determined HARQ process identifier associated with said CG occasion. In this way, data transmission delay causing a failure to meet a Quality of Service (QoS) requirement is avoided; data loss caused by a situation where the data cannot be retransmitted is also avoided."
