MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517121237 A) filed by Delta Electronics, Inc., Taoyuan City, Taiwan, on Dec. 3, 2025, for 'uninterruptible power supply.'

Inventor(s) include Yan, Yung-Sheng; and Peng, Kuo-Chang.

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An uninterruptible power supply (100), comprising: a bidirectional alternating current-direct current converter (104), a resonant converter (106), an automatic voltage regulation circuit (108), and a control unit (110). When an alternating current input voltage is outside a predetermined voltage range and is within a voltage regulation range, the automatic voltage regulation circuit (108), the resonant converter (106), and the bidirectional alternating current-direct current converter (104) generate an alternating current supplementary voltage at a power output terminal on the basis of the alternating current input voltage, and generate an alternating current output voltage on the basis of the alternating current input voltage and the alternating current supplementary voltage, such that the alternating current output voltage is within the predetermined voltage range. When an alternating current input voltage is outside the voltage regulation range, the resonant converter (106) and the bidirectional alternating current-direct current converter (104) generate an alternating current output voltage at the power output terminal on the basis of a discharge voltage of a battery, such that the alternating current output voltage is within the predetermined voltage range."

The patent application was internationally filed on Sept. 12, 2024, under International application No.PCT/CN2024/118420.
