MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026637 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 30, 2024, for 'ultrasonic-based utensils cleaning device.'

Inventor(s) include Avinav Pathak; Ashok Kr. Gupta; Anjali Singh Rana; and Pradeep Sharma.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An ultrasonic-based utensils cleaning device, comprising a cuboidal body 1 installed with a chamber 2 for placing utensils, a touch enabled screen 3 for enabling a user to give input commands, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 for capturing and multiple images of the chamber 2, a robotic arm 5 gripping utensil, a motorized clamp 6 for gripping utensils, a motorized roller 8 configured with the rope 7 for unwrapping rope 7 to suspend utensils in a container, an ultrasonic wave emitter 9 for generating ultrasonic waves in water, an RTC (Real-Time Clock) module for keeping an accurate track on real-time, a speaker 15 for notifying user to collect cleaned utensils from vessel, IR (Infrared) counter 11 for counting number of utensils, plurality of iris pores 12 for discarding used cleaning solution, an electronic nozzle 13 for filling fresh cleaning solution from receptacle 14 to container."
