According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a driver circuit for powering a light source. The driver circuit comprises a first driver adapted to provide power to the light source and having a first output power at a first optimum power conversion efficiency, a second driver adapted to provide power to the light source and having a second output power at a second optimum power conversion efficiency, a controller for enabling and disabling the first driver with a first duty cycle and the second driver with a second duty cycle. The controller is adapted to receive a dimming signal and arranged to determine the first duty cycle and the second duty based on a dimming signal such that the first driver operates at the first optimum power conversion efficiency and the second driver operates at the second optimum power conversion efficiency when active."

The patent application was internationally filed on Apr. 08, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/059421.
