MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202341087347 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Dec. 20, 2023, for 'tyre crack repairing assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A tyre crack repairing assistive device, comprising a housing 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, a chamber 2 for manually storing multiple damaged tyre that needs to be repaired, a touch enabled screen 4 for entering command regarding initiation of repairing process of crack, a telescopic clamp 5 for gripping damaged tyre, a curved member 6 mounted over the v shaped frame, plurality of ball bearing 7 for rotating tyre over member 6, an ultrasonic sensor to detects crack on tyre, a pair of telescopically operated grippers 8 to grip each sidewall of tyre, a vessel to adhere patch on detected crack, a telescopically operated cutter 9 to cut treads of tyre, an electronic nozzle 10 to dispense a tar solution, a canister to store tar solution."
