MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311079862 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Nov. 24, 2023, for 'tyre carriage assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Vikas Kaushik; Sarabjeet Singh; and Pradeep Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A tyre carriage assistive device, comprises of an elongated body 1 associated with the device configured with a handle 2 attached at a first portion 3 of the body 1 to be clasped by a user for manoeuvring the body 1 over a ground surface, wherein a touch enabled screen 4 is mounted over the body 1 to allow the user to enter details regarding dimension and height of the body 1 to be maintained along with changing direction of movement of the body 1, a telescopically operated C-shaped bar 5 attached at second portion 6 of the body 1 to extend/retract in accordance with diameter of the tyre a pneumatic pusher 9 attached with the body 1 to push the tyre out from the body 1 as means of positioning the tyre over a surface or installing in a vehicle."
