MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411004060 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 19, 2024, for 'two-wheeler vehicle riding assistive device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A two-wheeler vehicle riding assistive device, comprising a C-shaped body 1 configured with multiple plate 2 developed to be accommodated over throttle of a two-wheeler vehicle, a camera 4 installed on body 1 for capturing and detecting shape of throttle, a set of telescopically operated links 6 attached at inner periphery of body 1 and equipped with multiple primary suction cups 7 for securing body 1 on throttle, a double-layer flap 8 installed with body 1 via a motorized pivot joint 9 and initially stored in a stowed state for allowing user to comfortably place wrist portion while riding vehicle, a GPS (Global Positioning System) module installed on body 1 for detecting real-time user location, an L-shaped telescopically operated shaft 11 installed with body 1 and equipped with secondary suction cup 12 for locking throttle, and a speed sensor installed on body 1 for detecting speed of vehicle."
