MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024867 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 27, 2024, for 'two-wheeler parking assistive device.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A two-wheeler parking assistive device comprises of, an extendable platform 1 integrated with multiple motorized wheels 7 that are dedicated towards moving of the platform 1 to different locations, a user interface installed in a computing unit associated with the device accessed by a user with an intention of parking a two-wheeler vehicle to input a desired location, an artificial intelligence enabled image capturing module 3 to determine the exact portion with respect to the platform 1 on which the stand supposed to be rested, a scissor mechanism powered plate 5 integrated via multiple motorized hinge joints 6 to accommodate the stand in a secured manner, a LDR (light dependent resistor) 4 for determining ambient lighting conditions, and multiple LED (light Emitting Diodes) lights 2 for lightening up to assist the user to properly park the vehicle in low lighting conditions."
