MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411012985 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'two-wheeler loading and unloading device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A two-wheeler loading and unloading device, comprising a platform 1 installed near trailer portion, an extendable plate 2 over which a user positions front tyre of a two-wheeler, a microphone 3 for inputting command for loading/unloading two-wheeler, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 4 determines dimension of two-wheeler, an laser measurement sensor determines dimension of tyre of two-wheeler, a primary and a secondary motorized clamp 7 are installed over plate 2 by means of a primary and secondary motorized slider 8 for positioning front and back tyre of two-wheeler over plate 2, two inverted L-shaped telescopic rods 9 extend and position a suction cup 10 over two-wheeler as support, an ultrasonic sensor determines distance and height of trailer, two pneumatic scissor arrangement 11 lift plate 2 to position plate 2 parallel to trailer portion, an motorized extendable sliding unit 12 provide translation to plate 2 towards trailer portion."
