MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517096891 A) filed by Obrist Closures Switzerland Gmbh, Muttenz, Switzerland, on Oct. 8, for 'trigger pumps.'
Inventor(s) include Schmidt, Patrick; Natersky, Klaus; and Wilhelms, Christian.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a trigger pump dispenser comprising - a main body, comprising - a pump chamber - an inlet port in communication with said pump chamber - an outlet port in communication with said pump chamber - an inlet valve seated between the pump chamber and the inlet port - a outlet valve seated between the pump chamber and the outlet port - a piston, seated in the pump chamber, for defining a variable volume in said pump chamber and movable between a retracted position of larger chamber volume and an inserted position of lesser chamber volume, - wherein the pump chamber has a conical shape."
