According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention discloses a Trendelenburg gait correction shoe for antalgic gait comprising a gluteus medius activation cue, an unstable lateral sole zone, and a controlled instability region integrated within the sole structure. The shoe induces targeted lateral instability to stimulate hip abductor muscle activation, particularly the gluteus medius, thereby improving pelvic stability during stance phase. The invention supports physiotherapy-based gait retraining and reduces compensatory trunk lean and pelvic drop commonly observed in Trendelenburg gait."
